Remembering

Veterans of Foreign Wars State Commander B.J. Lawrence places a rose at the base of a flagpole in honor of deceased veterans Monday at Monte Vista Cemetery as part of a Memorial Day ceremony held by VFW Post 7686.

Photo was taken May 14th, 2008 as the Commander-in-Chief was given a tour of Holloman Air Force Base located just outside of Alamogordo, NM.

in Las Cruces, NM

May 15th, 2008 - Photo was taken as the Commander-in-Chief greeted motorcycle riders in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The riders were at a meal stop on thier way to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. and were participating in the "Rolling Thunder" Run for the Wall annual event. All riders and attendees were served a meal provided by and served by members of Las Cruces VFW Posts 10124, 6917, and 3242. State Commander B.J. Lawrence, State President Pat Phistry, and Line Officers of the Department and Auxiliary were also present for the event.
